Who should attend
It is targeted at those currently working in a general manufacturing or general food processing operation production or processing lines.
What you will learn
Graduates will be able to:
- Apply an understanding of workplace health and safety requirements to contribute to a safe working environment
- Maintain and control a manufacturing process to ensure product quality
- Carry out operational tasks within a manufacturing process to meet organisational and customer requirements
Training Progression
This programme leads into the New Zealand Certificate in Manufacturing (Level 4) with an optional strand in Technical Support and /or the NZ Certificate in Business (Introduction to Team Leadership) (Level 3) / (First Line Management) (Level 4)
About this programme
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the manufacturing sector with people who have the knowledge and skills to work as an operator in a manufacturing plant, under limited supervision.
