    Health & Safety Specialist (Trainer)

    Chris joined RMG over 9 years ago and is a valuable member of our team. Chris was with the Department of Corrections for numerous years both in England and New Zealand. He spent time as a Senior Corrections officer as well as Northern Regional Dog Handler. Whilst working for Corrections he was involved in ‘train a trainer’ and in England served as an area secretary for RESPECT: The Prison Service Minority Ethnic Staff Support Network.

    Chris has drive and commitment to improve health and safety has seen him achieve IGC NEBOSH. Chris travels both the North and South Island delivering workplace training, consultancy work, conducting incident investigations, drug testing and developing workplace policies and procedures mainly around health and safety/drug and alcohol.

    Food Processing (Meat) Specialist (Trainer)

    Guy has a long career in the food industry sector and in the dairy processing sector. where he undertook a variety of roles from supervisory, food safety, learning and development teams and documentation development. Much of this time Guy was also an on job trainer and workplace assessor.

    Guys passion for training got him involved with industry training and he spent 6 years as a key  account manager for dairy processing within an ITO helping clients develop training programmes to suit their business and staff.

    Jim combines more than 30 years’ experience in technical, laboratory and QM management with seven years as a moderator for NZITO in Dairy, Health & Safety and Management for both pre and post moderation. His management expertise in a Private Training Establishment and spell with an ITO gives him a unique view of both sides of training.

    When younger Jim played a lot of amateur football and snooker.   He reached the under 21 regional semi-finals for snooker.

    Josh is one of the few people in New Zealand with a Masters In Risk Management, which is backed up by a B Sc. and post graduate diploma in business. He is expert in developing and implementing risk management to ANZS 4360, developing and implementing statutory compliance in the areas of Fisheries and Food Safety.

     Cycling now keeps him fit,  competing in various 100km races, triathlons and one half iron man

She also brings to the role her experience as an educator and editor of professional publications

    Richard has been working with RMG for many years.  He was with the Department of Corrections for numerous years and spent time as a Principal Corrections officer as well as Southern Regional Dog Handler. Richard undertook significant time on staff training in the areas of drug awareness and gang culture. It was during this time that he developed a passion for education and personal development and how this could personally influence change and well being for staff

    Wayne has an extensive career in the trades and engineering sector, both as applicator and tutor. (Polytech and Competenz).

    Wayne has specialist knowledge in the Engineering and Manufacturing industries. He has a wealth of knowledge and industry experience that enables him to really understand the needs of companies and trainees, providing targeted and effective training support and solutions.  As a technically skilled engineer and as a tutor, Wayne understands key tasks and processes.

    Interests

    Wayne played hockey from an early age until 1993 and represented Poverty Bay in most age group classes and later coached and refereed at Junior Level.

    He took up archery around 1986 and won area, North Island, and New Zealand titles including setting NZ records. He represented New Zealand at the World Championships in Sweden in 1988. Later he coached archery and was a national judge. In 1992 he was appointed an international judge to judge at the world Crossbow Tournament in Hamilton New Zealand where he also served on the International Technical Committee.

    Wayne designed and built race-car components and has designed and built his own race car (TQ midget) to compete nationally. He was top car in his class in 1998-1999, 1999-2000 at Gisborne Speedway. He is presently a technical adviser for a TQ midget race team.

    Wayne has been a playing member of the Gisborne Civic Band for more than 40 years. He also is a playing member of the Deco Bay Brass Band (Hawkes Bay) for the last 10 years and is currently plays solo horn for them.

    Wayne enjoys playing golf and travelling.
