What you will learn

NZ HEALTH & SAFETY LEGISLATION HSAW ACT 2015

  • Key duties and their application, Legal requirements and responsibilities as defined in the  Health and Safety at Work Act 2015
  • Worker participation & engagement

 HEALTH & SAFETY RISK ASSESSMENT

  • Understanding of the full risk assessment process
  • Understanding of the job safety analysis method of risk assessment 

HEALTH & SAFETY CULTURE AND PRACTICES

  • Communication, reporting  & documentation of Healthy & Safe practices
  • Positive  workplace health & safety culture

Qualification Gained

On successful completion of this course learners will be credited with four unit standards:

  • 30264 (Level 3 Credits 3)
  • 30265 (Level 3 Credits 8)
  • 19522 (Level 3 Credits 3)
  • 30266 (Level 3 Credits 6)

 

Prerequisites

It is recommended that participants have completed HSR - Stage 1
