About this programme
This qualification is for people who have the potential to be appointed to team leadership roles or who have
recently become a team leader. This qualification will provide New Zealand workplaces with people who have
the skills and knowledge to contribute to effective team performance and the potential to be effective in a
leadership role within a team. This programme is run by RMG under contractual arrangement with Te Pūkenga – Work Based Learning.

Who should attend
It is targeted at those currently working in industry that either currently hold, have recently been appointed or
who is looking to progress to positions such as supervisors, team leaders, health & safety reps, leading hands
or future managers.

achieve organisational goals when employed in first line management roles in diverse workplaces. This programme is run by RMG under contractual arrangement with Te Pūkenga – Work Based Learning.

This programme can lead into the NZ Diploma in Business (Level 5) with courses in accounting,
administration and technology, leadership and management and project management.
Admission Information
It is recommended that participants hold the NZ Certificate in Business (Introduction to Team Leadership)
Level 3, and all participants must have access to a workplace mentor and full support of the business.
